SAIC Awarded Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic Contract

• Company to Provide Information Assurance and Cybersecurity Services

McLean, Va. - Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) today announced it was awarded a prime contract by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic to provide information assurance (IA) and cybersecurity services in support of its mission to provide U.S. tactical, strategic, and operations support. The multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a total value of more than $210 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed in Charleston, S.C., and Washington, D.C.

SSC Atlantic's Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance/Information Operations Department provides technical support services to the U.S. Department of the Navy, military health systems, the Department of Homeland Security, and other U.S. Department of Defense, federal, and state agencies. Under the contract, SAIC will provide IA support in support of military health information systems, software development, systems integration, afloat and shore computer network defense modernization, and information technology (IT) operations. This support will include IA and cybersecurity programs, information systems modeling and simulation, wide area and local area network development, performance and integration and communications systems.
