Turkish plane makes belly landing, no injuries: report

ANKARA - A Turkish Sky Airlines plane carrying 156 passengers from Germany on Monday made a belly landing at Antalya airport in southern Turkey but nobody was injured, Anatolia news agency reported.

The right landing gear of the plane flying from Baden Baden broke and the craft slid along the runway, Antalya's deputy governor Mehmet Yavuz said.

"The plane for the time remains on the runway. There are no injuries," he said. "156 passengers, together with their luggage, were evacuated from the plane."

Officials from Sky Airline were not immediately available for further comment on the report.
