URS to Provide Aviation Maintenance Services to US Army
- Task Order Has Maximum Value of $129 Million to URS
Under the task order, URS will provide aviation maintenance, program management and logistics support for rotary wing aircraft and related equipment at bases in the state of Washington and the Republic of Korea. URS also will repair, rebuild or overhaul aircraft systems and components and provide maintenance services to support military units involved in joint training exercises and mobilization activities.
Commenting on the award, Randall A. Wotring, President of Federal Services for URS, said: "This important task order further underscores our expertise in aviation maintenance support and builds upon our work under the Contract Field Teams program. We look forward to growing our relationship with the U.S. Army and providing support to our nation's aviation defense systems and equipment with this significant award."
