Codan Releases ISB Capability for the NGT Series of HF Radios

  • Doubles data rate for e-mail
London, DSEi (Booth #N4-571)- September 13, 2011 --[ASDWire]-- Codan Limited (ASX-CDA) announced the introduction of the Independent Sideband (ISB) capability for the Codan New Generation Transceiver (NGT(tm)) product range.

MIL-STD-188-110A/B waveforms, yielding data rates of up to 9,600 bps. Codan's ISB option doubles this data capability to up to 19,200 bps, using the MIL-STD-188-110B Appendix F waveform. This results in significantly improved responsiveness and reduced transmission times for data intensive applications such as e-mail.
