U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) was the keynote speaker at today's event which was held at Aurora's manufacturing facility in Bridgeport, West Virginia. "I am proud that Aurora's employees in West Virginia play such a vital role in building Global Hawk, our nation's premier unmanned platform. What you do day in and day out to support our warfighters is truly patriotic," said Senator Manchin. Senator Manchin is a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee which has Congressional oversight responsibilities for Global Hawk and BAMS.

Aurora has been a member of Northrop Grumman's Global Hawk team since 1995. Aurora's Global Hawk workshare includes all of the aircraft's composite components except the wing and radome. Aurora recently delivered its first flight hardware to Northrop Grumman for the Navy BAMS program.
Aurora's performance on the Global Hawk and BAMS programs has achieved Northrop Grumman's objectives for quality, on time delivery, and affordability resulting in its selection as a Platinum Source Supplier in 2008. Aurora employs 175 workers in its state of the art composites manufacturing facility in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
