ManTech Awarded Two Task Orders Totaling $19M Under U.S. Army Space Technology Applications and Research Support ContractFAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 9, 2005--ManTech International Corporation (Nasdaq:MANT), a leading provider of innovative technologies and solutions focused on mission-critical national security programs for the Intelligence Community and the Departments of Defense, State, Homeland Security, Justice and other U.S. federal government customers, announced today that it has received two task orders under the U.S. Army Space Technology Applications and Research Support (STARS) contract with a total value of $19 million.
Under one task order for $10 million, ManTech will support the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Battle Lab. Services include architectural, ergonomic, and technology design, renovation, procurement and systems integration of the Joint Functional Component Command Integrated Missile Defense Operations Center and Staff Support Area. The Joint Functional Command is located at Schriever Air Force Base, Falcon, CO.

The second STARS task order, which ManTech is already working on, is valued at $9 million. ManTech is upgrading the Defense Information Systems Agency, Joint Task Force Global Network Operations center and combat support area. ManTech efforts involve architectural, ergonomic, audio-visual, and information technology systems design, renovation and integration. The Joint Task Force is located in the Washington, D.C. area.
