Sentient signs Reseller Agreement with Overwatch
- Overwatch to market, sell and support Sentient's Automated Target Detection Solutions
Overwatch delivers multi-source and geospatial intelligence solutions that enable analysts around the world to integrate and leverage various intelligence sources to improve situational understanding and deliver actionable intelligence in support of counter-terrorism, irregular warfare and civil applications.
Remote Sensing Technologies and Global Markets
Kestrel will expand Overwatch's overall solution portfolio. Processing aerial surveillance imagery from unmanned and manned aircrafts' electro-optical (EO) / infrared (IR) full motion video (FMV) sensors, the software provides image analysts with enhanced situational awareness. Kestrel detects movement on the ground as well as small objects on the surface of the sea, supporting analysts in their intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) tasks.
"We see great value in being able to introduce Kestrel to our customers," said Stuart Blundell, Overwatch vice president of Geospatial Products. "Many of our customers use FMV sensors to gather intelligence information. Unfortunately, they struggle to analyse the FMV data and extract vital information in a timely, accurate manner. Kestrel will support this analytical process and significantly improve their ISR capabilities."
Over the past 12 months Sentient has been building a strategic partner network, working with industry experts to jointly develop a technology and sales roadmap that addresses customer requirements.
Dr. Paul Boxer, Managing Director of Sentient, said, "As a global technology provider that is expanding rapidly, Sentient relies on its partner network to provide all customers the best possible implementation, support and training around our solution. Therefore, we look for the most renowned partners in the field of FMV analysis. Overwatch has an outstanding reputation as a leader in this field and the knowledge and dedication they bring is first rate. We have found a very valuable partner and we look forward to working with Overwatch."
