DRS Defense Solutions announced that its Technical Services business unit has opened a new office in Charleston, S.C., to better support its valued customer, the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR).
"DRS Technical Services is committed to strengthening our partnership with SPAWAR," said Jim Scott, vice president and general manager of the company's Global Enterprise Solutions line of business. "We are extremely pleased for the ability to provide SPAWAR with the high quality of service and support that they expect and deserve."
DRS Technical Services, Inc. has been supporting SPAWAR programs since 2005 by providing communications solutions to U.S. and coalition military forces throughout the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) and U.S. European Command (EUCOM) areas of operation.
"To foster our customer relationships and to remain productive and responsive, DRS Technical Services plans to open new offices within close proximity to them. This growth supports the strategic expansion of our 'best-in-class' communications and security solutions offerings," notes Scott.
