Rochester, NY - July 18, 2011 --[ASDWire]-- Codan Limited (ASX-CDA) announced that it is delivering high frequency (HF) radio systems under a sole source contract to the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) J6 Directorate. Under the agreement, Codan is supplying the Codan(tm) MRX-I Interoperability Gateway and NGT(tm) High Power high frequency (HF) radios for use in security missions throughout the African continent.

"Codan radio systems are already used in more than 40 countries in Africa, and by international entities such as the African Union and the United Nations."
As part of the contract, Codan will deliver and commission the radio network within ninety days from receipt of order, as well as provide training and support services to operators.
