Avidyne TAS600 Series Traffic Advisory Systems Receive Brazilian Validation for Model List Certification
- Brazilian-validated TAS600 AML STC removes cost- and time-burden associated of individual field approvals for each and every installation; Adds Brazilian Type Certificated (TC) aircraft models from the Industria Aeronautica Neiva family of Embraer and Piper-licensed aircraft.
"Brazil, especially the Sao Paulo region, has some of the densest air traffic in the world, and a high performance dual-antenna traffic system such as the TAS600 Series is critical to keeping pilots and their passengers safe," said Patrick Herguth, Chief Operating Officer. "This AML has been extended to include a large number of aircraft that were licensed for manufacture in Brazil, and gives our Brazilian dealers a basis for installation approval that reduces the paperwork cost and time associated with each TAS600 installation."
