Le Bourget, France - Sargent Aerospace & Defense, a leading supplier of precision engineered components and aftermarket services, announced at the 2011 Paris Air Show that the company has signed a global parts and logistics agreement with Messier-Bugatti-Dowty, a Safran group company.

Under the general terms agreement, which is effective through December 31, 2021, Sargent will supply a variety of engineered components for Messier-Bugatti-Dowty, together with the provision of logistics services for the company's global facilities.

"Sargent's newest agreement with Messier-Bugatti-Dowty significantly expands our supply of components of flight-critical applications on a variety of civil and military aircraft equipped with Messier-Bugatti-Dowty landing gear," said Scott Still, president, Sargent Aerospace & Defense. Sargent will supply these components with immediate effect from its facilities in Tucson, Arizona; Torrance, California; and Guaymas, Mexico.

Messier-Bugatti-Dowty, the world leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, is headquartered in Velizy, near Paris. The company has 17 main facilities in Europe, North America, and Asia, employing approximately 6,250.
