Parker Aerospace Stratoflex Division Selected by Airgrup, S.A., to be Airbus A400M SupplierFORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 25, 2005--The Stratoflex Products Division of Parker Aerospace has been selected as a subcontractor by Airgrup, S.A., to provide flexible hoses and quick disconnect valves for the Airbus A400M engine build-up (EBU) program.
Airgrup, S.A., based in Seville, Spain, is a prime contractor for Airbus and EADS (European Aeronautic Defense and Space) CASA. Stratoflex will supply the products for the A400M's fuel and hydraulic applications through Airgrup, who will then develop the EBU's rigid tubes and ducting.

These components link the fluid conveyance transfer system to the pylon and each engine on the four-engine military transport aircraft, allocating fuel to the wings and engines.
The Airbus A400M is a military transporter designed to meet the requirements of the air forces of Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, and the United Kingdom. The A400M design office, located in Madrid, Spain, will be welcoming four Airgrup engineers and two engineers from Parker to be assisting locally in this design and development process.
