FL Technics signed Agreement with Donavia for full Engine Maintenance portfolio

In May 2011 FL Technics, integrated aircraft Maintenance and Repair Organisation, signed an exclusive full-scope engine service provision agreement with the Russian carrier Donavia. The agreement, worth USD 11 million over the period of 12 months, covers full management of 6 x CFM56-3 engines, including maintenance facility selection, shop supervision during engine maintenance, handling of spare parts supply, engine lease and legal support services.

Donavia, the largest carrier in Southern Russia, has been a long-standing strategic partner of FL Technics. The co-operation between two companies started in mid 2007, with the scope of services expanding each year.

"FL Technics employs a team of engine specialists, who have one of the deepest experience in managing complex engine projects within CIS and CEE region. We are glad to pass this knowledge to our strategic partners such as Donavia, saving their maintenance costs, and providing world-class engine service for their operations", explained Jonas Butautis, CEO of FL Technics.

"We selected FL Technics to manage this costly and complex project of engine maintenance on behalf of Donavia because of their professionalism and total commitment to deliver the best outcome to our organisation. We have tested our partnership over a number of years and believe that Donavia will benefit from the extensive know-how, professionalism, and ultimate customer focus delivered by FL Technics", commented Vitaly Golovin, CEO of Donavia.
