Avidyne Corporation, a leading provider of integrated flight deck and safety systems for general aviation aircraft, today announced that they have received an Approved Model List Supplemental Type Certificate (AML STC) from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the installation of the of ADS-B-upgradeable TAS600 Series of Traffic Advisory Systems in more than 700 aircraft makes and models.
"As with many avionics installations, dealers installing our TAS600 systems have referenced a single-aircraft STC, a process which typically requires a field approval for each installation," said Patrick Herguth, Chief Operating Officer. "Dealers can now reference this AML STC and significantly reduce the paperwork cost and time associated with each TAS600 installation."
