Alion Wins $2.4M to Help Army Evaluate and Prioritize Warfighter Capabilities

Alion Science and Technology, an employee-owned technology solutions company, has been awarded a $2.4 million task order to provide continued support to the Army in validating and prioritizing the requirements for their current and future capabilities. Alion will provide services that will enable the Army to make short-term, mid-range and long-term decisions that impact the funding, development, and fielding of capabilities to Warfighters. Work under this task order supports the Army Experimentation Program, the Army's Five Year Test Program, the Army Studies Program, the Army Advance Technology Objective Process, and related initiatives. "Through Capabilities Integration, Prioritization and analysis tasks, our team of experts will evaluate the required Warfighter capabilities," said William Zolp, Alion Vice President and Manager of the Army Support Operation. "Our recommendations on combat development and systems life cycle functions will assist the Army in making timely and effective decisions on warfighting capabilities."
