Liteye Receives $850K Order from L-3 Nova for TRSS Program

Centennial, Colorado - Liteye Systems announced today that it has received an order from L-3 Communications Nova Engineering, (NYSE: LLL), to supply rugged monocular displays to L-3 Nova's Tactical Remote Sensor Systems (TRSS) program for the United States Marine Corps.

"We are pleased that L-3 Nova and the Marine Corps have chosen a Liteye display system to enhance their sensor program." Stated Rick Sondag, VP of US Sales. "The custom display system we are producing for TRSS is another in a long line of high performance, rugged displays Liteye is providing to our armed forces worldwide. This new display will provide the soldier in the battlefield with the means to view imagery from the TRSS system which improves their situational awareness."

L-3 Nova's TRSS system provides the capability for all-weather remote monitoring of activity within and near a given objective area. The system is unique in providing autonomous and continuous unattended sensor surveillance of multiple distant areas, and can detect the presence of movement and classify the target, indentifying it as personnel or wheeled or tracked vehicles, while also determining the direction of movement. This capability allows troops to know what type of activity is occurring in an area of interest and respond accordingly, in real time.

Production of this new display will be performed at Liteye's facility in Centennial, Colorado, and beginning immediately with delivery being made in November.
