Honeywell Signs Service Agreement With Vector Aerospace UK

  • Agreement Allows Vector Aerospace U.K. to Service ALF 502/LF 507 Engines
(Phoenix, September 7, 2010) -- Honeywell (NYSE: HON) announced today that Vector Aerospace Engine Services UK Limited is fully authorized under a license agreement to service Honeywell's ALF 502 and LF 507 engines.

The agreement includes a Honeywell parts supply arrangement and a license to provide engine overhaul and repair services.

"Vector Aerospace's maintenance presence in Europe provides operators with an expanded choice of service providers for this regional platform," said Mike Madsen, vice president of Airlines for Honeywell Aerospace. "This agreement provides both reliability and value through the use of genuine Honeywell parts."

Honeywell's ALF 502 and LF 507 engines are installed on British Aerospace BAe 146, RJ100 and RJ85 aircraft. More than 200 aircraft are currently in service worldwide with more than 60 operators.
