Airliner lands with engine on fire
ATHENS, Sept 4, 2010 (AFP) - Passengers and crew were evacuated by slide from a Slovakian airliner Saturday after it made an emergency landing on a Greek island with an engine on fire, airport officials said.The Boeing 737-400 belonging to the AirExplore company was en route from Verona in Italy when the right engine caught fire. The pilot asked to make an emergency landing on the Aegean island of Kos.

A total of 169 passengers, including a baby, and seven crew were evacuated after the landing. No injuries were reported.
