'Painful concessions' needed for peace: Netanyahu
WASHINGTON, Sept 2, 2010 (AFP) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Thursday for "mutual and painful concessions from both sides" to secure a durable peace as he began talks with Palestinian leader Mahmud Abbas."A lasting peace will be achieved only with mutual and painful concessions from both sides," Netanyahu said at the relaunch of direct peace talks.
