Morpho Detection EDS Bring State-of-the-Art Technology to India's Largest Airport
(Newark, Calif., August 31, 2010) -- Morpho Detection, Inc., part of Morpho, Safran group's security business, today announced the installation of six CTX 9400 DSi(tm) explosives detection systems (EDS) at the newly constructed Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), one of the largest airport terminal buildings in the world.The CTX 9400 DSi systems are the first in India to utilize the advanced imaging capabilities of computed tomography (CT) technology for aviation security. This technology not only helps to ensure the security of travelers but also has a low false alarm rate, allowing screeners to positively identify threats while expeditiously examining all baggage.
