Qatar Selects Goodrich's Electric Braking System for Dreamliner Fleet
- First 787 wheel and brake supplier selection announced for Middle East region
The Goodrich electric braking system for the Boeing 787 uses Goodrich's proprietary DURACARB(R) carbon brakes. DURACARB(R) carbon provides exceptional brake performance and 35% better brake life than competing carbon friction materials. Goodrich is the chosen supplier on nearly 80 percent of the 787 aircraft wheel and electric brake awards that have been announced to date.
