SAIC Awarded $19 M to Support USAF Cryptographic Community

  • Company to Provide Software Development and Sustainment Services in Support of Secure Command, Control, and Intelligence Requirements
(McLean, Va., July 6, 2010) -- Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) today announced it has been awarded a task order by the General Services Administration (GSA) Greater Southwest Region to provide software development and sustainment support of the U.S. Air Force. The task order has a one year base period of performance, three one-year options and a total value of more than $19 million. Work will be performed primarily in San Diego, Calif.

The task order was awarded under GSA's Alliant government-wide acquisition contract and requires SAIC to develop and enhance electronic key management system (EKMS) software products related to COMSEC (communications security) encryption.
