Sisu Defence and Thales-Raytheon Systems sign contract

• finalizing selection of Sisu off-road military trucks as platforms and support vehicles for air defence radars

(July 2, 2010) -- Military vehicle supplier, Sisu Defence Oy and Thales-Raytheon Systems Company SAS, France, have signed a contract on July 1, 2010 to finalize the selection of Sisu Defence Oy to deliver Sisu off-road military trucks to serve as platforms and support vehicles for Thales-Raytheon Systems supplied Ground Master 403 radar systems in specific delivery projects.

Delivery consists of Sisu ETP 8x8 Radar Carrier Vehicles, equipped with Stabilized Truck System, STS, for Ground Master Radars, and of Sisu A2045 4x4 Ancillary Vehicles, equipped with cranes and cargo platforms. Order value for the Radar Carrier Vehicles and Ancillary Vehicles all together is approximately EUR 8.5 Million, excl. VAT.
