L-3 Completes Acquisition of Insight Technology

(New York, April 15, 2010) -- L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) announced today that it completed the acquisition of Insight Technology Incorporated on April 14, 2010. Terms were not disclosed. Insight develops and manufactures mission critical night vision and electro-optical equipment and is headquartered in Londonderry, N.H. The acquired business, renamed L-3 Insight Technology Incorporated, is expected to add approximately $200 million to L-3's sales for 2010, and to be immediately accretive to L-3's earnings.
