Singapore Airlines Cargo Selects P&W for Fleet Technical Management Agreement
(Singapore, February 26, 2010) -- Singapore Airlines Cargo has signed a multi-year fleet technical management agreement with Pratt & Whitney. Under the agreement, Pratt & Whitney Commercial Engines & Global Services will provide Singapore Airlines Cargo with powerplant engineering and on-wing fleet management for its fleet of PW4000 engines. Pratt & Whitney is a division of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX)."We are pleased to select Pratt & Whitney for this fleet technical management agreement," said Singapore Airlines Cargo Senior Vice President of Operations Tan Kai Ping. "As the PW4000 OEM, we are confident in Pratt's engineering expertise to maintain the best operation for our fleet."
