Joel Haldemann, vice president of MRO for EMEA at Goodrich, said, "We are positive about the future for our services in Dubai for several reasons. There still are a significant number of aircraft on order for delivery to the region, airlines are receiving new aircraft, and there is an influx of new low-cost operators to the area. Our aftermarket strategy is to be close to our customers, and for this reason Goodrich became one of the first original equipment manufacturers to locate MRO services in Dubai. It was the right move."
