The ETVS is the primary communications link between air traffic controllers and aircrews onboard commercial aircraft. The system provides Air Traffic Control (ATC) mission critical communications with superior voice quality, non-blocking access to all data channels, and a net-centric based system control terminal. Features include air-to-ground and ground-to-ground access, full conferencing and Voice-over-Internet Protocol. The system also incorporates extensive redundancy elements and built-in diagnostics designed for trouble-free reconfiguration, expansion and maintenance.

Under the terms of the contract, Northrop Grumman will deliver seven ETVS systems to Advantek International Inc. in July of 2010.
