L-3 Henschel and Marine Systems Join to Become L-3 Maritime Systems
(Newburyport, Mass., February 16, 2010) -- In a strategic realignment aimed at creating value and efficiency for customers, L-3's Henschel and Marine Systems divisions have been combined to form L-3 Maritime Systems. The newly created division is being led by Don S. Roussinos, who will serve as president of the business.L-3 Maritime Systems integrates the industry's most advanced components and technology developments into best-value, customized system solutions that meet specialized customer requirements. The division will broaden its ability to provide products, systems and services across the maritime environment, while developing new technologies for the shipboard navigation, automation and sensing, communications and networks marketplace. As its locations have done for decades, L-3 Maritime Systems will continue to provide advanced solutions to the U.S. government and allied militaries.

The facilities will maintain ISO 9001:2008 and CMMI Level 3 certifications in their respective locations.
