URS to Provide Aircraft Maintenance Services for AF Materiel Command

  • Task Order Has Maximum Value of $46 Million to URS
(San Francisco, February 16, 2010) -- URS Corporation (NYSE:URS) today announced that it has been awarded a task order from the Department of Defense's Air Force Materiel Command to provide aircraft maintenance support to the 402nd Aircraft Maintenance Group at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, GA. The two-year task order, which was awarded under URS' Contract Field Teams (CFT) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract, has a maximum value of $46 million to URS.

Commenting on the contract, Randall A. Wotring, President, Federal Services, URS Corporation, said: "We are pleased to have won this task order, which underscores URS' expertise in providing an array of maintenance and equipment modification services to the U.S. military. We look forward to assisting the Air Force Materiel Command on this important assignment."


Under the task order, URS will provide maintenance, modification, inspection and repair of cargo and fighter aircrafts such as the C-5, C-17, C-130, and F-15.
