DRS Awarded $10 M For COTS Direction Finding Systems

(Bethesda, MD., February 3, 2010) -- DRS Defense Solutions, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of DRS Technologies, Inc., announced today that its Intelligence, Communications and Avionics Solutions (ICAS) operation in Merrimack, NH, was awarded a $10 million contract to deliver a number of man-pack/vehicular tactical signals intelligence (SIGINT) systems with direction finding (DF) processing and associated analysis nodes.

Supplied as commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment, these SIGINT systems will be used to support the warfighter around the globe in the most demanding of applications.
