Herley UK Subsidiary, EWST, Receives Multi-Million Dollar Contract

(Lancaster, PA., February 1, 2010) -- Herley Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: HRLY) announced a recent multi-million dollar award to EW Simulation Technology ("EWST"), the Company's subsidiary in Farnborough UK.

Richard F. Poirier, Herley's Chief Executive Officer and President, commented, "EWST has recently been notified of a significant award from Germany's BWB Defence Procurement Agency, for delivery of a RF-Simulator system. The EWST RSS8000 will be used to support the ground test and simulation facilities for the Electronic Support Measures ESM (ESM) system for the P-3C Orion Maritime patrol aircraft."
