Chromalloy Selected for LM2500 Gas Turbine Engine Component Repair

  • $15 Million Contract Covers Blade, Vane and Other Component Repairs for Turbine Engines Powering U.S. Navy Ships
(Orangeburg, N.Y., December 7, 2009) -- Chromalloy announced today that it has been selected by the U.S. Navy to provide component repairs for the Navy's LM2500 aero derivative gas turbine engine program powering its fleet of cruisers, frigates, destroyers and patrol boats.

The five-year, $15 million Direct Vendor Delivery contract was awarded by the Naval Inventory Control Point and covers component repairs on the LM2500 engine blades, vanes, shrouds and seals.
