An initial order of $10.7 million has already been authorized, for production of 49 BRU-57/A smart racks plus spare components. All work will be performed in the ITT's Electronic Systems' Integrated Structures facility in North Amityville, NY.

"ITT has made significant investments in carriage and release technology to meet the growing demand for smart, lightweight, high-performance technologies," said ITT Electronic Systems President, Chris Bernhardt. "Our focused initiatives have positioned us as a leader in weapon-release systems."

ITT's BRU-57/A enables two smart weapons to be carried and released from a single pylon station without modifying aircraft hardware. ITT's patented electronics enable the carriage to carry a wide array of precision-guided munitions.
