KONGSBERG PROTEUS ASTT delivery for Romanian Navy

(September 30, 2009) -- KONGSBERG Simulation & Training has once again a delivery for the PROTEUS ASTT, this time to the Romanian Navy in Constanta.

The PROTEUS ASTT is a flexible team trainer and simulator for naval ship crews to train tactical communications, procedures and decision making skills and is currently delivered and in use by countries like Norway, Sweden, Romania and UAE.


With this ASTT trainer the Romanian Navy can practice Tactical Combat Management Crew for frigates, helicopters and Anti-Submarine Warfares, also interaction between the different units.

This delivery has taken only 7 months to finish, from the pilot plant delivery, development, production, final installation and system test.
