Cubic Receives $40 M to Train US Military Advisors

(San Diego, CA., September 29, 2009) -- Under a contract modification worth more than $40 million, Cubic Applications, Inc., the mission support services unit of Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB), will train thousands of U.S. military personnel who will be helping the national armies of Iraq and Afghanistan provide defense and security for their populations.

"We are training U.S. service people who are going to be military advisors," said Bill David, vice president and program manager for Cubic's support operations at the Army's Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) at Fort Polk, Louisiana.
