ITT Awarded $16.6 M Night Vision Goggle Order from UK MoD

(London, September 9, 2009) -- ITT Corporation (NYSE: ITT) has been awarded a $16.6 million follow-on order from the United Kingdom Ministry of Defense (MoD) for the Head Mounted Night Vision System (HMNVS). The award is a follow-on order to the $23 million contract awarded to ITT in August 2008, to continue to supply the U.K military with HMNVS and in-support services.

"This follow-on order allows us to maintain our support to the Coalition forces that continue to perform critical nighttime missions," said Mike Hayman, president and general manager of ITT's Night Vision business. "With this award, we are increasing our international footprint with our key allies and providing them an indispensible weapon for nighttime operations."
