ST Engineering Renames Specialty Vehicles Subsidiaries In China

(Singapore, 3 August 2009) -- Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (ST Engineering) today announced that its China specialty vehicles companies, Zhenjiang Huachen Huatong Road Machinery Co., Ltd. and Zhenjiang Huatong Aran Machinery Co., Ltd. have been renamed
Jiangsu Huatong Kinetics Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Huaran Kinetics Co., Ltd. respectively.

Both companies are joint ventures between Singapore Technologies Kinetics Ltd (ST Kinetics) (75.3%) and Jiangsu Huatong Machinery Co., Ltd. (24.7%). They are leading players in the road construction and maintenance equipment market in China and produce equipment such as asphalt pavers, road milling machines, and asphalt mixing plants. Their products are exported to more than 20 countries worldwide.
