Parvus mission computer selected for Niitek vehicle-mounted mine detection systems

Amaro (Udine), Italy - Jul 22, 2009 - Amaro (Italy), July 22, 2009 - Eurotech announces that its US subsidiary Parvus Corporation has received a follow-on order for additional DuraCOR 810 mission computers from NIITEK, Inc., to support the company's Vehicle-Mounted Mine Detection Systems. These systems utilize NIITEK's Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) for road clearance missions. No financial details were disclosed.

The DuraCOR 810 is a field-ready tactical processing subsystem built on years of experience at Parvus in developing and qualifying similar systems for harsh ground vehicle and aerospace installations.

Parvus Corporation is a leading supplier of rugged COTS computing and IP networking subsystems for Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) constrained military, aerospace, and homeland defense applications.
