Gulfstream Receive Type Certificate Validation from Transport Canada

Approval Allows Operators To Register All In-Production Gulfstream Aircraft In Canada

(Savannah, Ga., July 13, 2009) -- Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE:GD), recently received Type Certificate Validation from Transport Canada for the Gulfstream G550, G500, G450, G350 and GV.


These aircraft join seven other Gulfstream models already validated for Canadian certification - the G200, G150, G100, GIV, GIII, GIIB and GII. The additional validations mean Gulfstream operators can now register any in-production Gulfstream aircraft in Canada.

"Securing this validation not only enables the registration of aircraft for operators in Canada, it also marks another chapter in the history of Gulfstream certifying its products there, beginning with the GII in 1978."
