Fokker Services delivers CRJ700 Executive conversion

Atlanta, September 25, 2007 --[ASDWire]-- Fokker Services, a subsidiary of Stork Aerospace, recently completed the conversion of a Bombardier CRJ700 regional jet to an executive version and delivered the aircraft to the customer.

The conversion entailed taking out the complete existing interior and installing a luxurious, three-cabin executive interior with 21 seats certified tor takeoff & landing, all based on an in-house design. The new interior includes new sidewall & ceiling panels, sound proofing materials, SATCOM and ample IFE and Cabin Management systems.

The new executive interior was certificated by Fokker Services in accordance with EASA as well as FAA regulations. The actual completion was done at Fokker Services' Completion Center at its Woensdrecht facility in the south of The Netherlands.

With 21 passengers in its spacious 2,100 ft3 (71 m3) cabin the NBAA range is over 2,100 nm (4,100 km).

Fokker Services' Completion Center for VIP aircraft is also an Airbus Approved Outfitter. Using its integrated design, manufacturing and support capabilities Fokker Services continues to support over 800 Fokker aircraft worldwide as well as numerous Bombardier Dash8, ATR-42 & 72 and various Airbus and Boeing aircraft with a wide range of support services from its main facilities in The Netherlands, Singapore and the US.
