CARLSTADT, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 18, 2004--Tel-Instrument Electronics Corp.(AMEX:TIK) announces its newest multi-function test set, the TR-211. The TR-211 provides the transponder and DME test functions found in TIC's popular TR-210 Multi-Function Test Set, but with a large four-line display and with hardware to support emerging European testing requirements. The TR-211, like TIC's other flight line test sets, provides the features that users demand - simple operation and innovative testing capability.
The TR-211 is intended to replace the TR-210 within TIC's transponder test family, which also includes the popular TR-220 which adds TCAS test functionality. Mr. Charles Palanzo, the company's Chief Operating Officer, describes the TR-211 as "another example of TIC's commitment to addressing emerging test requirements and providing real value to our customers."
The TR-211 will be offered at an introductory price of $9,900 through 3/31/05. Its list price is $10,500.
