Serco Receives Contract in FAA Re-BidGIBBSBORO, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 18, 2004--Serco North America, a leading provider of managed service solutions, has been selected by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to continue service to air traffic control towers throughout the western United States.
Serco will continue operations of 54 air traffic control towers from Alaska to California to Colorado. This five-year contract is valued at over $100 million USD.

Serco has received numerous awards relating to its operation of the FAA towers. Serco was recognized with the Willie F. Card FAA Contract Service Award each of the two years since its inception. The award was presented to Williams Gateway Airport this past year, as it best exemplified customer service and safety in the contract tower industry.
Four facilities received the "None in a Million" award, meaning no operational errors were made in the handling of a million aircraft operations.
