URS to Provide Technical and Programming Support to NSWCDDContract Has Maximum Value of $28 Million to URS
(San Francisco, May 28, 2009) -- URS Corporation (NYSE:URS) today announced that the Company has been awarded an engineering services contract to provide technical and programming support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). The contract, which includes a 1-year base period followed by four 1-year options, has a maximum value of $28 million to URS, if all options are exercised.

Under the terms of the contract, URS will provide engineering and technical expertise to support NSWCDD land-based test sites and laboratories, such as the coalition warrior interoperability demonstration command and control laboratory and distributed engineering plant. In addition, URS will support the planning and execution of combat systems engineering projects by providing architecture development, system design and network engineering. Other services include testing and evaluation, and general program management support.
