(Athens, Greece, May 12, 2009) -- ISI Hellas has announced its selection by Lockheed Martin UK to provide promotion, marketing and support of its interoperable Systems Management and Requirements Transformation (iSMART) process and eSMART toolset for any military applications in Greece.
The iSMART process is an internationally-accepted means of achieveing visibility of interoperability challenges, in the development of information systems and communication media, including tactical data links. It provides analysis of interoperability across operational and strategic data communications systems and down to the tactical edge (the warfighter level).
iSMART uses a systems engineering approach to achieving cost-effective interoperability and is currently the process of choice of, (amongst others) the USA, UK, Australia, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland and Sweden.
Commenting on the partnership, Mr. David K. Rowles, iSMART Programme Manager at Lockheed Martin UK, said: 'ISI Hellas has been a long-standing partner of Lockheed Martin UK, in Greece.
