Ultra Electronics Wins Command and Control Contract for Bahrain

(May 13, 2009) -- Ultra Electronics Advanced Tactical Systems, Inc. based in Austin, Texas, announced today that it has received a contract from the United States Marine Corps Systems Command under a Foreign Military Sale to provide the Kingdom of Bahrain's defense force with an advanced command and control system. The contract covers a two-year period and is valued at $14.8M with options valued at over $20M.

Ultra will provide the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) with a complete command and control (C2) solution including a secure microwave communication system to link five major sites within Bahrain. Ultra will provide systems integration services, hardware and software development, installation, training, spares, and on-site field service support.
