Bombardier's Global Vision Flight Deck 1st Flight in Summer 2009

Successfully completed Power-ON test in winter 2009

(Geneva, Switzerland, May 11, 2009) -- Bombardier today announced an important milestone in its new Global Vision flight deck development plan. The new cockpit successfully completed its Power-ON test in winter 2009 and is on target for its first flight on a Global Express XRS aircraft in summer 2009. It is available for both the Global Express XRS and Global 5000 jets.

The Global Vision flight deck's system computers, its flight software and the aircraft systems are powered-up to verify functionality and compatibility.
