Patria Acquired Copterline Facilities at Helsinki-Malmi Airport

(May 7, 2009) -- Patria Aviation Oy has acquired Copterline Oy's facilities at Helsinki-Malmi Airport on 30 April 2009.

Patria Pilot Training Oy will establish its new base in the facilities as of 1 June 2009. The facilities will have a positive impact on the operations of the flight school by gathering aircraft, flight training devices, classrooms, flight planning as well as teachers' and management's facilities under the same roof. The move to the new facilities will not affect Patria Pilot Training's mail or email addresses or phone numbers.

Patria Pilot Training Oy is one of the leading Finnish Pilot Training Organisations (JAR-FTO). It provides high quality professional flight training in Helsinki. The main product of the school is an Integrated Professional Pilot Training Course which takes ca. two years to complete.

The new facilities will also be used by Patria Helicopters AB, that signed a cooperation agreement earlier this year considering maintenance and logistic support of Copterline's Eurocopter EC135 helicopters. The main facilities of Patria Helicopters AB are located at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport in Sweden.
