Patria and Casa Signed a Transport Aircraft Maintenance Agreement

(March 30, 2009) -- Patria and EADS-CASA have signed a framework agreement covering maintenance, inspections and repairs of C-295 transport aircraft. According to the agreement Patria maintains the Finnish Air Force's C-295 aircraft as a subcontractor to EADS-CASA. The agreement enables CASA-Patria cooperation also concerning maintenance of other customers' C-295 aircraft.

The work performed in Tikkakoski concretely shows that we are ready to go where ever the customer is", says Jukka Holkeri, Executive vice President, Aviation.


JYKES Kiinteistot built for Patria a new maintenance facility to the Jyvaskyla Airport, located in Tikkakoski. The building was inaugurated in 13 March 2009. In addition to the C-295 aircraft Patria maintains in this new facility also the Finnish Air Force's Fokker F-27 transport aircraft according to the cooperation agreement signed in March 2008. Patria also produces the basic pilot training for the Finnish Air Foce and maintains the Vinka and Redigo aircraft at Tikkakoski air base.
