Rolls-Royce Awarded $32 M Model 250 Service Contract
(February 22, 2009) -- The U.S. Army has awarded Rolls-Royce a $32 million contract modification for provision of Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) services covering the Model 250 - powered OH-58 Kiowa Warrior military helicopter fleet. Today, the U.S. Department of Defense has more than 1000 Model 250-powered helicopters in service around the world.As part of this CLS agreement, which will cover nine Kiowa Warrior units and more than 250 helicopters through 2010, Rolls-Royce will provide engine repair and overhaul as well as parts supply. In addition, field representatives will accompany OH-58 Kiowa Warrior units whenever and wherever they are deployed to provide tactical, hands-on support.

The OH-58 Kiowa Warrior is a member of the OH-58 family of single-engine, single rotor military helicopters produced by Bell Helicopter.
