American Defense Systems Secures $1.7 M Order From TACOM

(Hicksville, NY., November 25, 2008) -- American Defense Systems, Inc. ("ADSI") (AMEX: EAG), a leading provider of advanced transparent and opaque armor, architectural hardening and security products for Defense and Homeland Security, reported the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) has ordered an additional 22 complete Crew Protection Kits (CPK) for bulldozer vehicles currently deployed overseas.

The contract is an expansion of an existing multi-vehicle contract. The total value of the additional order is approximately $1.7 million, which ADSI expects to realize in the first quarter of 2009.

ADSI's chief executive officer, Anthony J. Piscitelli, remarked, "We continue to experience significant demand by the U.S. Army to provide protective technology to construction vehicles in support of our brave men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. We anticipate further contract expansion from TACOM throughout 2009."
